WalletConnect powers the onchain apps and wallets you use every day. WalletConnect is the connective layer for the financial internet. If you’ve ever connected to an app, you’ve seen it. That blue logo? It’s everywhere, an icon of trust in crypto, as recognizable as Visa at checkout, with billions in value flowing through the WalletConnect network annually.
In this edition, we’re covering what’s new, what’s scaling, and why it matters for the future of onchain UX.
This was a milestone month. Major partners went live, new infrastructure rolled out, and adoption is growing fast. Here's what’s shipping, and what it means for the ecosystems.
Let’s dive in.
Network Growth: Jun 2025 All Time Highs
Cumulative Connections: 326,705,000

Cumulative connections passed 326 million. That’s over 17 million new, verified connections in just one month, clear proof that developers and users are choosing WalletConnect as the trusted foundation for onchain experiences
Unique Wallets: 49,230,000

Nearly 1.7 million new wallets joined in June, bringing the total to more than 49 million. Behind every wallet is a person transacting, exploring, and building across chains.
Integrated App Projects: 70,000+

App integrations crossed 70,000. From early-stage apps to the largest names in crypto, teams are integrating faster and scaling further with the WalletConnect Network at the core.
$WCT Updates:

WCT is the engine behind WalletConnect’s decentralization. By staking WCT, users help secure the network and earn sustainable rewards backed by real network usage.
Here’s what is happening to $WCT:
- Over 122,230,000+ WCT is currently staked
- More than 48,800+ stakers
- Up to 22% APY in staking WCT rewards
$WCT on Solana: Now Live on Kamino
WCT is now live on Kamino, one of Solana’s leading DeFi protocols. Holders can provide liquidity through Kamino’s automated vaults and earn passive yield, no active management or complex setup required. As of now, the 7-day APY for WCT-USDC sits at 5.18%, offering a low-friction way to support the Solana ecosystem while putting tokens to work. Kamino’s vaults are designed for capital efficiency and onchain composability, making this integration a meaningful step toward deeper WCT utility across chains.
$WCT Solana claim is now live

To mark WalletConnect’s expansion into Solana, a collaborative WCT claim campaign is now live, shaped in partnership with five of Solana’s most trusted communities: Backpack, Jupiter, Solflare, Solana Mobile, and Phantom. Each partner helped define eligibility criteria that reflect real community engagement, not short-term farming or inorganic activity. This campaign recognizes meaningful participation across trading, staking, governance, and ecosystem contributions.
Eligible users can now visit the official WCT claim page to check eligibility and claim tokens.

BitGo is live on the WalletConnect Network!
BitGo, a global leader in digital asset custody, is now part of the WalletConnect Network.
As institutional interest in onchain finance grew, BitGo faced a clear challenge: give clients secure access to thousands of DeFi apps across chains, while maintaining the user experience expected at the enterprise level. Traditional wallet integrations couldn’t keep up with the scale or complexity.
With WalletConnect, BitGo now enables direct access to governance, trading, and liquidity on apps like Uniswap, trusted by teams and foundations building on Solana, Sui, and Hedera. This unlocks over $100B in institutional assets for the DeFi ecosystem.
What BitGo now powers through WalletConnect:
- 70K+ onchain apps, instantly accessible
- Full multichain coverage across EVM, Solana, and more
- Persistent, stable sessions, even across device or network changes
BitGo’s integration marks another step toward making institutional access to DeFi as seamless as it should be.

Roadmap: What’s next for the WalletConnect Network

What’s next for the network
Growth is accelerating, and we’re setting the stage for what comes next:
- More node operators: The WalletConnect Network is expanding its permissioned node set with new operators joining to help scale infrastructure, improve performance, and drive decentralization. This growing validator base will play a central role in keeping the network fast, reliable, and permissionless-ready.
- The WalletConnect Council: A new ecosystem-led working group designed to shape the future of trusted connectivity. The Council brings together protocol designers, wallet teams, app developers, and product leaders to define technical standards, improve UX flows, and surface issues that matter most to real users. It’s a feedback loop, a forum, and a force for coordination. Learn more
- Wider access to WCT: As part of our ongoing expansion, WCT is becoming more accessible across regions and chains. WCT is now live on Solana and trading on Binance. Local access has also expanded through Coins.ph in the Philippines and Bitkub in Thailand, making it easier than ever to earn, vote, and participate globally.
If you’re building in the onchain ecosystem, now’s the time to connect. The network is expanding fast, and you can help shape it.
